he Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has shifted its attention from the Qomhana front in northern Hama to the key town of Souran, which was captured by the jihadist rebels during the first 48 hours of their offensive.

Unlike their previous offensive in northern Hama last year, the Syrian Arab Army will also attempt to recover the large town of Taybat Al-Imam, which is located just south of Souran.

This military operation will be led by the Tiger Forces, with additional back-up from the local National Defense Forces (NDF), 11th Tank Division, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and Hezbollah.
